Is Morgellons Contagious?
The team here at the Healing Grapevine has been in an intensive 'crash course' on understanding Morgellons and the connection to nanotechnology, or advanced nano materials as Dr. Staninger prefers to refer to it as, ever since our own exposure and recovery to this 'unexplained dermopathy' and itchy skin condition in 2009. The question we raised and following answer has created quite a stir of concern and feedback and so we have come back to do our best to express the facts about the scientific research that Dr. Staninger has uncovered. We must think out the box, without fear, about what Morgellons really is because it does not follow any of the biological rules we are familiar with. There are many out there who have been dealing with this for years and may have watched it 'spread' to family members. Some tell stories of being suicidal or going to dozens of doctors with no help; there is a report from Dr. Staninger herself of one of her patients going to 23 doctors before finding her! There is a good chance that this is the case for you as you read this article and the most important message we want to convey is, there is a solution!
The forums and support groups on the internet are loaded with folks - so many of them ask, "can I recover?" and the answer from us is, YES! We are dedicated to dispelling fear and clarifying the facts. Every time we read a case study or paper Dr. Staninger has presented, the light bulb goes on another Watt brighter, and just this week it came to our realization to ask her an important question... Is Morgellons contagious? According to Dr. Staninger's findings, the answer is - no. To be completely clear here, it is not a specific pathogen associated with Morgellons to 'catch'. It is a toxicological condition and most recognizable when affecting the skin; a contamination from exposure to advanced nano materials and according to Dr. Staninger we are being exposed to it everywhere.
This is the interview audio where we are talking with Dr. Staninger and she goes into great detail with regard to the specimens and laboratory analysis that confirm the presence of advanced nano materials.
It is in our food as GMOs, modified food starches, artificial ingredients, preservatives...the list is huge and the fact is many of the terms for these nano foods are cleverly marketed so as not to reveal what they really are, for example - low fat and instant. It is in our medicines, both pharmaceutical and over the counter (OTC), nano enhanced for delivery including meds that are time released. It is in the air as weather manipulation tactics, aerial vaccines, as smart dust surveillance for data gathering. Out of the 151 patients that Dr. Staninger has successfully treated for the Morgellons condition, every one had tissue samples or fibers that were analyzed and identified as an advanced nano material. Every single patient. This is an artificial intelligence, at the nano level, being introduced to our inside and outside environments. It is a self replicating, self assembling technology that is feeding on the toxic environment of our bodies. As they build networks within our tissues it generally makes us itch and want to crawl out of our skin.
The patient in this photograph did not know that a city sewer line had broken near her home and had showered in raw sewage. By the time she came for treatments with Dr. Staninger she had lost most of her hair; samples of the "sensil fiber" (1) identified by Dr. Staninger burned at 650 degrees F and she had 110 pink heart-shaped lesions covering her skin that glowed under a fluorescent light.
In May of 2007, she came to Dr. Staninger's with the official diagnosis of Morgellons and began the comprehensive detox program starting with the far infrared sauna twice a week. The photo underneath is 5 months later and already the recovery proves to be remarkable. She purchased a FIR pad and later a Rainbow unit to continue her treatments at home and less than a year after that she is 'radiant' and healthy. Yes this is the same woman! Just like the saying goes...a picture is worth a thousand words.
If it's not contagious why does it seem to spread from close contact or within a family unit?
The variations on this answer are infinite but one of the factors that has fueled the idea of Morgellons being contagious is the body bug phenomenon; contact with a body bug or skin parasites like bed bugs, scabies, mosquitoes, or hundreds of other insect vectors. The truth is that this is only a part of the puzzle.
Other factors that make Morgellons appear to spread among individuals and families is they are exposed within the same toxic environment including aerial spraying (2), then there is genetic predisposition, and the habit of eating the same foods...McDonald's, Hamburger helper, Instant desserts, corn and wheat products, and recreational drug use are all major factors in why an individual will contract Morgellons.
Each individual in our team was exposed, over time, through multiple vectors and each individual's history told the story of several different toxins from several different potential 'vehicles'. It is these vehicles, just as their name would depict, that will transport the nano material contaminants from one individual to another and make it appear to be contagious. The 'final' contaminant that kicked us into presenting the common Morgellons rashes was identified by us as Scabies.
However, my daughters were bitten as well, which means they were exposed, but apparently they did not have enough toxicity to feed the assembling requirements of the advanced nano material that the scabies was carrying.
We had a small microscope to examine specimens and only now do we fully understand (well at least until the next time Dr. Staninger turns another light bulb on for us) what we were looking at as they appeared to morph. They went from being easily recognizable Scabies creating pimples and rashes to unidentifiable blobs of crystals shards and fiber balls some with really long networks of single strand fibers. They looked like they were literally sending out feelers for each other.
The fiber balls were mostly those pretty blue and red ones, like in the pictures. They shined under our microscope because they are a polymer type material. We were bewildered at how uniform it came to a pointy end, like they were drawn that way, and generally no texture along the strand like you see from a hair shaft or cotton fiber. And then there were the self manifesting white fluff balls that seemed to just come off the skin - not from any particular rash area. Even the black flecks were shiny, polyester looking fiber balls under the microscope. Since Dr. Staninger never had one of these original specimens from us, she can only deduce that we had a scabies bug that was either synthetic, enhanced, and/or simply the delivery system for the nano materials. If the scabies were eventually killed through a 'normal' life cycle (which there was nothing normal about this one) regardless, the bug had exposed us to the nano nasties and went about the business of self assembly networks under our skin. Morgellons Fact: it is the level of toxicity in our tissue and organ systems, accumulated over our lifetime from exposures to toxins and GMO'd pathogens, that is why we suffered from Morgellons. Once exposure has occurred, it will manifest stronger at weak points within our system. At this point, what Dr. Staninger has discovered is not a pathogen.
