Morgellons Symptoms: Body Bugs 22. Close contact
There is a lot of debate in the community regarding the question of "is this contagious" and the stories split about fifty-fifty. Where some folks are reporting that they have had this for years and years and have never seen it transfer to a family member or close friend, there are others who can track the contact and spread across close contact.
FYI, it just so happens that scabies is classified as a STD (sexually transmitted disease) and is, in fact, one of the most common.
One Morgie spoke of her Mom visiting her and sleeping in her bed, after her Mom returned home, she began to experience a rash of bites but no visible sign of a bug.
3. Environmental Exposure...Jasmine
I understand what you mean by the environment issue. I think this is a bit complex, because we catch so many other buggies, it is likely anyone will have one or more other parasites or whatever living in their environment.
I went through this, compulsively cleaning, tossing, changing things etc, slowly this outlook changed, probably as one or another secondary parasite or bug died off. I no longer, and now rationally realize, that I probably never had ickyies living all about me. I do still have the Morgellon type bugs, and they continue to go about their evolutions, fortunately now in much smaller numbers, but I no longer fear or feel they are in anything but me.
I have been around countless people the last 10 years, from friends, to lovers, to babies to grandparents and sick people too, and to my knowledge not one of them, not one, has gotten these critters. I believe it takes a unique set of circumstances, health, environment, water, the bugs, temperature etc to start the infestation. It is unique, but obviously not too special since thousands are ending up the same way.
It appears that lots of the parasites are coming to the surface, as they appear to burrow and travel in and out of the skin. I have seen this when tracking the large long black hair-like parasites. I also have the red hair like neon type parasite, which I think I read somewhere are the females.
I have lots of "brown spots" where the dead ones were, which also go away eventually. There is lots of skin which is not my skin, I have no feeling in it, that comes off. The little nasty buggars use their webs to pull skin together making a home continually making webs, strengthening the webs, pulling the skin together to the point where it begins to grow together, or glue together with the skin like stuff they make.
I won't even talk about the silicone production, they way they spit it out onto the webs which reinforces the webs, makes them sticky to catch other stuff. I broke one's "spitter", and when it came to silicone time (part of the cycle) it just made a large silicone ball, the size of a marble!
It was perfectly clear, I could see all the way through it , and it actually magnified my skin etc underneath!!
It is one wild an unpredictable ride, which defies logic and description. It is also not too wise to discuss in detail as the conversation might be the last you have with that person~! :)
Welcome to The World of Microbiology and Genetic Cell and Organism Engineering
Another family's story began right after they had their lawn treated with a GMO nematode technology that was supposed to be safer than using pesticides to control lawn and garden insects.
Finally, there have been several stories around the issue of sewage treatment plants and activity in household drains. The American Society for Microbiology has been researching the microbial communities of bacteria and protozoa colonies that create a biofilm inside an ordinary kitchen drain.
One lady shared that when she combed her head with a nit comb she found what appears to be rotifers...within an oval shape she could clearly see a tail and it seemed to explain the increased crawly activity she would feel around her bathroom and kitchen since these critter-types are cultured and sold as a type of treatment for sewage plants.
Even though these stories can easily be published as a series of best selling short stories in the horror genre, these are all actual accounts from the hundreds that are willing to share and for that we want to say THANK YOU for your bravery and willingness to expose these daily scenarios.
The more we can share and unify our stories, the better chance we have at actually acquiring a full protocol that can address ALL Morgellons symptoms that are associated with this devastating disease.
